In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the brave first responders who are helping our area recover. As a small token of appreciation, we’re offering $25 off services for first responders through the end of the year. Please let us know if you are a first responder & we’ll apply the discount at your next appointment.

Please Note: We will be closed on Thursday, December 12th due to dental radiography training.

Anesthesia

We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Anesthesia

Our veterinarians and veterinary technicians are skilled in using anesthesia and monitoring patients to ensure their safety and provide the most comfortable experience. Anesthesia and patient monitoring vary greatly from clinic to clinic. You can be confident that we use the most effective and up-to-date protocols. The type of anesthesia we use depends on the procedure. Some require general anesthesia, while others may only call for local anesthesia. We also closely monitor every procedure with electronic pulse oximeters and more importantly a lot of other instruments, whether routine or more advanced. For more specific information on our protocols, please see the individual descriptions or contact us with any questions.

Benefits of Anesthesia

  • Quicker Recovery: Anesthesia allows your pet to rest and recover without discomfort.
  • Reduced Stress and Worry: During medical treatments, superfluous pet anesthesia removes fear, worry, and discomfort from your pet.
  • Improved Veterinary Experience: Because we offer pet anesthesia, your pet’s overall experience at our hospital will be great. We provide a firm foundation for your pet’s continued medical treatment by minimizing discomfort and distress.
  • Enhanced Safety Measures: During procedures, anesthesia allows us to have a controlled environment that reduces the chance of complications or unwanted effects.
